Stephen Everard is a highly acclaimed entrepeneurial business leader and chief executive with an exceptional track record developing innovative leading technology solutions. During his tenure as CEO of Goal Group, Stephen turned a loss-making UK company into a market leading global enterprise, increasing company profits twelvefold.
Daron Pearce
Chairperson
Daron Pearce is an award winning industry leader, experienced Chairperson and trusted senior adviser. Prior to founding Daron Pearce Associates, he served as CEO of BNY Asset Servicing in EMEA, leading a $1.5bn turnover business with responsibility for their largest and most complex institutional investor relationships as Head of Global Financial Institutions.
Sarah Webb
Chief Technology Officer
Sarah Webb is a highly effective technology specialist with a successful career in digital delivery for global companies. During her tenures she has delivered high value, complex solutions across multiple time zones and operating locations for private companies, corporate and government entities.
Philip Rothfield
Chief Marketing Officer
Philip is a marketing and business development expert with over 30 years experience in banking, investment and wealth management focused on understanding the needs of complex institutional investors and their clients. Prior to TaxTec Philip was Head of Marketing and Communications, International (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) for BNY.
Austen Little
Product Manager
Austen brings nearly 25 years experience of tax operations and reclamation to TaxTec, gained from investment banks and wealth managers including BoA Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and UBS. Dedicated to product development and improving the tax process lifecycle, Austen has implemented many changes reducing risk, enhancing quality and increasing automation for the benefit of his clients.
Carol Danneau
Global Operations Manager
Carol joined TaxTec as Global Operations Manager, having previously served as Head of Operations, EMEA at Goal Group since 2017 where she was also responsible for the global finance team. Prior to that, Carol worked for an employee benefit and financial planning consultancy, building strong client relationships and ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Charlotte Everard
Global Client Services Manager
Charlotte has overall responsibility for the client experience globally at TaxTec, with over 12 years experience serving institutional investors in the tax recovery sector. Prior to joining, she was Senior Client Services Manager, EMEA at Goal Group with responsibility for query handling, service reviews and client satisfaction across the region.

Andrew Douglas
Chair
Andrew has spent 35 years in the City working in the post trade space, most recently at DTCC where he was both CEO of their largest Derivatives Trade Repository, DDRL and the head of DTCC’s Regulatory Affairs outside of the US. Today, Andrew is Chair of the UK Accelerated Settlement taskforce leading planning of the UK migration to T+1 in 2027. He is also Chair designate of a new tokenisation venture, the Digital Value Foundation and was until earlier this year when his term expired, Chair of the Data Standards Committee for the Bank of England’s ‘Transforming Data Collection’ initiative.
James Harvey
James is the Chief Finance and Chief Operating Officer for Future Growth Capital, a private markets investment management joint venture between Schroders plc and Phoenix Group plc. James previously held several senior investment management finance roles as CFO for Neuberger Berman Europe Limited, Hermes Investment Management Limited and Morgan Stanley Investment Management Limited. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified with KPMG, and holds the Financial Times level 7 Non-executive Director Diploma.
Brian Slade
From 1989 to 2012 Brian was Managing Director at Bank of New York Mellon as head of the Securities Services businesses in Australia. From there, he contributed to the establishment and growth of the specialist class action recovery and tax reclamation company, Goal Group, as General Manager of Sales & Relationship Management, Australia & New Zealand until 2020. Most recently, Brian was General Manager, Sales & Relationship Management at Financial Recovery Technologies, a firm specialising in Class Action Recovery.
Peter Sawyer
Peter started his career in London as a stockbroker and subsequently joined Royal Trust Bank of Canada with overall responsibility for Investment Operations and Corporate Trust, also creating a boutique Global Custody business for institutional clients. After retiring as a director of Fidelity Pensions Management, Peter chaired the securities industry ‘Institutions Settlement Group’ comprised of 22 major banks and financial institutions and was appointed to a number of senior non-executive board roles including Chairman of Goal Group for 10 years.
Simon Cleary
Simon is the founder of SC Solves Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based asset services consultancy firm supporting digital custodians and securities services FinTechs establish themselves in Asian markets. He is a former ‘C’ level executive with nearly 40 years securities services experience in multiple leadership roles in the UK, Luxembourg and Singapore. Most recently, Simon spent 12 years in Singapore with Standard Chartered, having previously worked for Brown Brothers Harriman, SWIFT, Citi, Bank of New York and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Stjepan Pavlek Posavec
Stjepan is CEO of Koios Consulting, a leading pan-European IT consultancy and implementation company. He has grown Koios significantly both organically and through selective acquisition since he co-founded it in 2008. Stjepan is an entrepreneur with a Masters in Computer Science and a background as a software developer. He excels at building and leading development teams and has an extensive track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects for large financial institutions.
